ROCK THE RUN WITH KAPPA DELTA
APRIL 21st 2013 at 11:00 AM
Kappa Delta was the first sorority to choose the prevention of child abuse as a national philanthropy. Since 1984, Kappa Delta chapters and alumnae associations have had Shamrock Projects–local fund-raisers that vary from twister games and luncheons to gold classics–to support the prevention of child abuse. Collectively, KDs across the world have given over $7.1 million and countless volunteer hours to Prevent Child Abuse America.
The Epsilon Pi Chapter of Kappa Delta at Virginia Tech is hoping to raise $20,000 through this year’s 9th annual Rock The Run event. All proceeds benefit PCAA and their local affiliate NRV Cares–a non-profit organization located in the New River Valley.
